Animal Welfare
Madad believes that all animals have intrinsic value and deserve to be treated with respect and compassion. Our mission is to protect animals from cruelty and abuse, and to promote their well-being through education, advocacy, and direct support.
Through our work, we support a variety of initiatives, including rescue and rehabilitation of abused and neglected animals, humane education programs for children and adults, and advocacy efforts to promote stronger animal welfare laws and regulations.
We also work to promote sustainable and ethical farming practices, protect endangered species, and support conservation efforts to protect the natural habitats of animals around the world. Animal cruelty, poaching, hunting, pollution, and other threats to animal welfare can affect animals all over the world.
Funding can aid in:
Rescue and rehabilitation, Education and awareness-raising, advocacy, conservation efforts, as well as combatting illegal wildlife trafficking.
Regions we are looking to expand to:
Africa: Many species of African wildlife, such as elephants, rhinos, and lions, are threatened by poaching and hunting. Illegal wildlife trafficking is a major problem in many African countries, driven by demand for animal products and body parts in Asia.
Southeast Asia: Wildlife trafficking is also a major problem in Southeast Asia, where many species of animals are hunted for their meat, fur, and other products. Habitat destruction and pollution are also major threats to many species in the region.
South America: In the Amazon rainforest, deforestation and illegal logging are major threats to wildlife, including endangered species like jaguars and monkeys. In addition, hunting and poaching are also major problems in some parts of the region.
